Location - Edmonton Position Summary
Permanent, Full time The primary focus of this position is to support the companies employees and customers to solve technical issues related to internal workstation/laptop PC’s and licensed software as well as software produced and developed internally by the IT Department. Duties will also include carrying out system administrator tasks related to the network infrastructure as well as perform system maintenance tasks and image or re-image company workstations/laptops to specifications.This individual will also develop computer generated reports, electronic training products as well as work on any assigned development tasks. This position also requires the individual to be a self starter and efficient time planner. Specific accountabilities include: ·Follow proper company programming standards. ·Analyze, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy assigned development tasks. ·Properly document code written during development of assigned tasks. ·Assist customers with technical questions related to our electronic compliance training.Generate registration codes, troubleshoot installation issues etc. ·Follow Non-conforming product procedures in the event of a deviation from established processes and procedures. ·Take corrective action to correct deficiencies identified through audits, deviations or other observations. Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ·2 years industry experience ·Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. ·Keen eye for details and able to work in a team environment ·Carry out assigned tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision. ·Demonstrates strong knowledge of internet operations and website design. ·Experience in a Windows domain environment ·Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office ·Experience writing object oriented code ·Strong web application programming and database programming skills including but not limited to: Microsoft MVC 5, C#, VB.net, JavaScript, BootStrap, CSS3, HTML4.x/5, XHTML, XML, MS SQL Server 2008 or newer, SSRS 2008 or newer, Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio Team Services, GIT. ·Experience writing technical design documentation for new projects or updates to existing projects. ·Proficient in Written and Verbal English ·Experience with Microsoft’s Identity Framework and Entity Framework ·Microsoft Azure App hosting Services and configuration ·Microsoft Azure SQL database ·SQL Server Reporting Services ·Experience writing technical design documentation for new projects or updates to existing projects.
