Outside Sales - Chicago


Due to growth our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic salesperson to join their team. For those interested qualified candidates please forward an updated Word Document resume (or PDF).

Location - Chicago

The successful candidate is responsible for selling Industrial Water Treatment equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

· Equal or exceed annual sales objectives

· Develop standard system quotations

· Locate, pursue, and close industrial water treatment equipment, as well as all associated service and products.

· Serve to develop business for all Water equipment and expendables within defined sales territory.

· Assisting in sales efforts to other sales individuals in the area as needed.

· Prepare accurate standard equipment quotations and bid proposals.

· Provide monthly & weekly sales reports, projected pipeline to the Regional Sales Manager.

· Maintaining an accurate customer contact/visit reports

· Any additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university in a related field and four years’ experience performing similar to those duties listed above.

  • Familiar with Lab water and industrial markets.

  • Previous customer service or sales experience is required.

  • Self-motivated, independent, ability to work under pressure

  • Good work organizer, team player, strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Willing to travel frequently.

Salary - Base + Commission - Commensurate with experience.
