Inside Sales/Technical Support

Location - Kingston

Due to continued growth our client has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team.

Inside Sales / Technical Support – Providing customer assistance, quotation and order processing, and first point of contact technical support for engineers, purchasing agents and maintenance people in the amazing field of automation. The ideal candidate would have strengths in control panels and electrical automation equipment. Other technologies that would be supported in this role include; automation – mechanical, electro-mechanical, controls, sensing, servo and stepper motors, pneumatics.

Experience or skill with the following technologies is desired;

Control panel components including; Power supplies, circuit breakers, motor contactors, terminal blocks, etc.

Sensors – Inductive, capacitive, photoelectric. laser, transducers

PLCs and controllers

Vision systems

Mechatronics – Motors, gearboxes, ball screws, actuators, servo motors and controls

Pneumatic automation equipment

The most suitable candidate will have, at the least, electrical and/or mechanical inclination and strong organizational skills.

Candidates with a degree in Automation, Robotics, Engineering, Mechanical Technologies, Controls, Electrical Technologies, or associated fields, preferred.

Training provided on specific technologies.
