Regional Sales Manager

Location: California and the West Coast , Midwest or SouthEast


Our client is seeking a dynamic and top-performing Sales Manager whom

will grow and develop the assigned territory. This individual reports to the Vice President of Global Sales. Travel throughout the region is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering highly preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge in high purity water treatment required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience required.

  • Excellent computer and project management skills.

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude, highly self-motivated, result-oriented, detail-oriented and a well developed sense of drive.

  • Valid driver’s license.


Responsibilities:

  • Represent Company products in a professional and knowledgeable manner in the region.

  • Meet or exceed annual sales objectives.

  • Manage business development activities for large capital equipment in the territory.

  • Identify, pursue and close standard and custom equipment sales for life science business including pharmaceutical, Biotech, electronic and laboratory applications.

  • Effectively communicate with the engineering community, general contractors and end user throughout sales process.

  • Provide project management support for equipment as necessary.

  • Actively look for and renew existing Preventative Maintenance Agreements working with the Branch Manager to ensure accurate pricing and scope of supply.

  • Maintain and grow Service DI (SDI) business

  • Business development for new service and products opportunities

  • Maintaining all customer accounts within sales territory.

  • Provide monthly and weekly sales reports and projected pipeline to the VP of Sales.

  • Maintain accurate customer contact and visit reports.

  • Any additional tasks as assigned by the VP of Sales.

  • Passport and ability to travel within the U.S. and Internationally

  • Salary - Solid base plus commissions
