Regional Sales Manager

will grow and develop the assigned territory. This individual reports to the Vice President of Global Sales. Travel throughout the region is necessary.
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Engineering highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge in high purity water treatment required.
Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience required.
Excellent computer and project management skills.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
Enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude, highly self-motivated, result-oriented, detail-oriented and a well developed sense of drive.
Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
Represent Company products in a professional and knowledgeable manner in the region.
Meet or exceed annual sales objectives.
Manage business development activities for large capital equipment in the territory.
Identify, pursue and close standard and custom equipment sales for life science business including pharmaceutical, Biotech, electronic and laboratory applications.
Effectively communicate with the engineering community, general contractors and end user throughout sales process.
Provide project management support for equipment as necessary.
Actively look for and renew existing Preventative Maintenance Agreements working with the Branch Manager to ensure accurate pricing and scope of supply.
Maintain and grow Service DI (SDI) business
Business development for new service and products opportunities
Maintaining all customer accounts within sales territory.
Provide monthly and weekly sales reports and projected pipeline to the VP of Sales.
Maintain accurate customer contact and visit reports.
Any additional tasks as assigned by the VP of Sales.
Passport and ability to travel within the U.S. and Internationally
Salary - Solid base plus commissions
