Outside Sales Representative

Our client is looking for a high-performing Sales Representative to help them meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

Location - Vancouver

Responsibilities;

  • Continually sourcing out and identifying new opportunities for Product offerings – valves/fittings/pipes

  • Communicate with existing customers to resolve complex product issues, ensuring the appropriate products are being used, have alternate suggestions and solutions that best meet the customer’s needs and communicate accordingly;

  • Ensure understanding of all requirements of customers’ needs in order to assist inside sales with a timely and correct quote;

  • Review terms and conditions of RFP;

  • Log quotations and provide direction for products, strategy and margins;

  • Complete preliminary control valve sizing using Performance software;

  • Manage/participate in large projects as required;

  • Daily updates in CRM database.

Candidate must own a vehicle and valid drivers license, compensation for the km will be provided

  • Selected candidate will be able to work from his home and will report to the Sales Manager

  • Preference for candidates that have experience in valve and instrumentation

  • Requirements;

  • Solid background of the valve industry.

  • Ability to take the initiative to learn about the industry’s products and knowledge;

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Curious about clients’ needs and processes;

  • Proven ability to coach and support members of the team as well as working as part of the team;

  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and improve and the willingness to adapt to change;

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering or relevant work experience.
