Bilingual Valve Technician

Location; Montreal

Our client specializes in the field of industrial steam equipment manufacturing, and is currently looking for a Valve Technician for their workshop for valve assembly and repairs. Due to growth they expanding their services and capabilities.

Duties And Responsibilities:

- Manage equipment and parts in the workshop; inventory and purchases

- Participate in assembling or repairing different products; valves, kettles

- Participate in the product quality control system

Qualifications:

- Knowledge in the mechanical field (stationary machines), assembly or quality control, heat exchanger, controls etc

- Mechanical DEP, maintenance, automation or equivalent training is an asset

- Bilingual; French and English

- Knowledge of ASME codes, RBQ, NBBI are an asset

Additional skills:

- Evaluate client needs and resources, recommend appropriate goods and services;

- Communicate with customers to resolve issues and follow up.
