Instrumentation Engineer/PLC Programmer
Our client is a growing, dynamic company and due to growth has an opportunity for a Instrumentation Engineer/PLC Programmer responsible for the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of new and existing applications for automated Industrial Machinery.

Requirements:
Analyze design specifications and customer requirements
Prepare functional specifications
Electrical Panel design
Programming and testing of PLC-based manufacturing equipment
Integrate and test programs onsite
On-site troubleshooting and support of existing equipment
Writing operator and service manuals
Develop concepts and determine costs for proposals to customers.
Development of PLC and HMI programs from scratch.
Prepare functional descriptions of process controls and sequence of operations
Assist customers electrical/programming issues
Trouble shoot and fix minor electrical issues
Experience Requirements:
2 plus years of control systems design and programming experience
Education and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering/CET with minimum 2 years of experience in related field
Excellent problem-solving skills
Must be able to travel to local and international customer sites
A thorough understanding of electrical control systems for automated machinery
A good understanding of pneumatic, actuator, sensor, power supplies etc for automated machinery
Solid programming skills using Allen Bradley, Omron, and Siemens PLC’s and HMI’s
Proven control system troubleshooting skills
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize issues
Good customer service, customer relation skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Salary- Commensurate with experience
