Product Specialist - Outside sales

Our client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced associate to assist in the sales and on-going development of delivering new customer sales of zirconia and removables.

Location - Uniontown,Pennsylvania

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyze assigned territories to identify targets within their areas of responsibility.

  • Create a business plan for assigned territory.

  • Leverage leads generated by marketing for smart use of targeted time

  • Create awareness in new customers of the broad based services company can provide.

  • Execute on # of calls per day/per week.

  • Maintain proper channels of communication between customers and the producing laboratory.

  • Complete required reports and submit to supervisor each week concerning customer-related activities, growth and relevant updates. Complete and submit timely any other reports requested by supervisor

  • Educate and maintain awareness of territory market conditions, competitive pricing and service levels and customer attitudes regarding the same

  • Participate in laboratory-sponsored customer-attended clinics and seminars

  • Any and all other duties assigned by management

Work Environment:

  • Works out of the home and may require regional using a personally-owned vehicle or air travel when required and approved

  • Drives in a variety of traffic and weather conditions, subject to inclement weather

  • Limited exposure to dental laboratory operations

  • Uses a computer, printer, and telephone

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience

  • Minimum 0-2 years’ experience in dental industry, preferably in a dental office.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to apply strong business acumen in new customer acquisition

  • Must be a self-starter with good initiative, assertiveness and self-motivation

  • Must be well organized and possess good reasoning ability and be able to make decisions independently

  • Must possess good time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with limited supervision

  • Excellent driving skills and the willingness to travel to customer locations frequently
