Junior Controls Engineer

Our Client is a leading industry solutions provider and implementer of integrated solutions for the U.S. market. Due to continued growth we are searching a motivated, dynamic individual to join their team of professionals.

Location: Saginaw, Michigan

Role:

• Performing Company services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on Control Systems Designing, developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues

• Consulting with and training end users on new applications

• Assisting in project development and planning

• Performing onsite pilots, testing and demos as needed

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (ChE, EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable) with 0-4 years experie nce or Associate’s Degree with 2+ years overall experience. An equivalent combination of experience and training will also be considered.

• Experience with industrial application programming languages

• Basic understanding of Electrical Schematics, ladder logic, and control concepts

• Acute attention to detail and process

• Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions

• Excellent customer service attitude

• Willing and able to travel (this position requires independent travel to customer locations) Preferred experience:

  • AutoCAD or Drafting experience

  • Telemetry experience preferred (GE MDS)

  • Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)

  • Experience with a DCS Platform (ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Schneider/Foxboro)

  • PLC Programming experience with one of the following platforms: Rockwell/Alle n-Bradley, Schneider-Electric/ Modicon, Siemens

  • Control Systems implementation, design, installs, testing, and troubleshooting
