Specialist Process Welder
Our Client is a leading industry solutions provider and implementer of integrated solutions for the Canadian and U.S. market. Due to continued growth we are searching for a motivated, dynamic individual to join their team of professionals.
Location - just west of Oakville
Primary Responsibility is to assemble of water treatment equipment using the following disciplines:
• Major component installation.
• Pipe / Tube / Fitting Tacking. • TIG / Orbital machine welding.
• Stainless steel tube Bending.
• Compression tubing and Fitting Assembly.
• Plastic piping assembly. Other skills necessary to build the equipment as per plans and specifications.
• Ability to work as productive team member to meet company delivery objectives.
• Operation and maintenance of assigned tools and support equipment.
• Ensure the manufactured equipment is assembled to quality standards.
• Daily house keeping of manufacturing floor and personal work area.
• Help maintain stock Levels of fasteners and other Items used in the construction of the equipment.
• Follow company Quality Management System processes (including ISO, GMP, ASME and BPE requirements)
• Certified powered lift truck operator an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Certified TSSA welding certificate.
• BL-1-1 pipe weld certificate 6G in all positions.
• BL-3-3 tube weld certificate 6G in all positions.
• Read And Assemble Using Process & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID)
• Read And Assemble Using Scale General Arrangement Drawing (GA)
• Read And Assemble Using Electrical Schematics
• Read And Assemble Using spool drawing, weld map or isometric drawing
• Read And Understand TSSA Welding procedures.
• Ability to identify design issues and communicate these to the appropriate persons.
• Ability to cope with design change in an efficient and timely manner.
Salary - Commensurate with experience
